Has anyone had bad experiences with BCBS of Alabama?

My doctor's office submitted a letter for my pre-determination to BCBS of Alabama, it took them 7 weeks to inform me that they needed additional information only after I called them (no notification from them). I submitted the detailed letter from my PCP of supervised diets under his care since 2000 that were unsuccessful immediately. After they received the other information a week later it went back into medical review and has been there since 10/25/04. I spoke to a customer service rep with BCBS on 11/1/04 she told me to call back in two weeks she was kind of nasty I told her whatever I will be calling back on tomorrow if you dont want to give a status dont come to work becuase I will be calling.
