How do I find out about a Doctors surgical History..like mortality rate and problems

I read on the sugilite message board from a lady who is using Doctor Betcher in Fresno . Now she is near death.. I am scheduled for surgery by this Doctor in Oct.. This scares me How do i find out Doctor Betcher and Doctor Fryes track record ...
