Has anyone eaten popcorn?

I am a little shy of 2 months post-op, I had the RNY gastric bypass and I crave popcorn. I was told or heard someone say that you are never suppose to eat popcorn. What is the insight on this and has anyone had popcorn? Thank you in advance.
