Has ANYONE out there had the lap band procedure ??

I am set to have the Lap-Band done on Sept 11th. I am VERy curious as to your weight loss results. The prospect of a shorter recovery and the fact that this is reversible is very attractive however I dont want to have to go back in a year for an RNY because this isnt showing any results. Please give me ANY information that you may have on specific results of this procedure.
