What the difference in Medicaid and an HMO medicaid plan?

I live in Florida and have medicaid contracted through United health care .(HMO) Is there a difference when it comes to WLS between the medicaid and the medicaid HMO plan? Is it easier to find a surgeon if you have the HMO medicaid?
