should i have a plastic surgeon do my panniculectomy? my regular surgoen is ready now

my origional dr did a great jod w/the bypass, but ive seen his panni. work and its rough..looks like a shark bite..can i get an insurance company to agree to have a plastic surgeon do the panni, after its been approved to be done by my origional dr?
