Headaches : I am 12 days post-op from Plastic Surgery: Help me with this Headache!

I had hernia repair/abdominoplasty on 7/31. I was released to drive on Friday and went on a shopping spree Saturday. I totally overdid my first excursion. On Sunday afternoon I got a bad headache. A little lightheaded with it, and then the pain settled at the base of my skull a little to the right of center. It's tender there, and there is pain if I press on it. It subsided after sleeping Sunday night, but today I feel the pain again and pressure on the rest of my head. I called my surgeon's office and they don't feel it is related to surgery at all, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I am wondering if I am lacking a nutrient or something. My pain meds haven't helped it much. A friend said it could be sinus-related because of all the humidity. I just don't want it to be serious, and want some relief. Help! Thanks.
