Any recommendations on a good scale that cost $100 or less?

I'm looking for a scale that is accurate, reliable and goes up to at least 300 lbs. Also, which are better, the digital or the dial (mechanical) scales? Any thoughts on the differences in battery, solar, and lithium powered scales would be appreciated. Thanks
