Capsules or Tablets, How soon?

Which is better Capsules or Tablets? Also, I recieved a sample pack from vita4life would it be too soon to start taking just one a day? (lap RNY 8-15-01) I want to get used to taking vitamins but I don't want to overdose on anything. Thanks in advance for all the answers and support!
