How in the world do you keep your food warm when it takes so long to eat?

I am 11 days post-op and eating pureed foods...it took me 30 minutes to eat a scrambled egg. Does anyone have any great hints on how to keep the food warm that long? I don't feel much like eating anyway, and cold eggs don't help! I don't really like "nuked" food, either, so the microwave is a last resort. Thanks in advance.....
