Has anyone dealt with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas?

I am trying to find if anyone has dealt with BCBS of Texas. I have looked the book upside down and called customer service. One gal told me nothing was mentioned in the coverage book another gal told me it wasn't covered at all even if medically necesarry. I have an apt. next week to see the surgeon and would hate to have to go through all this and then be flatly denied with not evena chance of appeal.
