Can someone provide me with info as to where I can find info regarding the 2 types

of segmenting the new pouch for the RNY. I know the transverse is the older version that wasnt successful & I need to know why it wasnt. I also need stats to back up this claim to present to my doctor. He does a transverse pouch with the stapling. Can you do a vertical pouch with the stapling? I am trying to get him to transect alltogether as this is the best way (in my opinion). Thanks Judy.....
