What tests are needed when getting a revision from VBG to RNY?
I had a VBG in 1997 and am currently trying to get a revision to an RNY. Do you have to get all the same tests as the first time? I went to an internist, cardiologist, and had a psych eval. I don't think all of this is necessary again. My surgeon has asked for an upper gi and pouch study and I'm going to the gastroenterologist for an endoscopy. Is that it? Anything would be helpful!
