Has anyone had WLS while currently in treatment for a skin wound?

A month ago I had a partial toenail removal and they used phenol, which is a chemical (acid?) that kills the nail root. The doctor inadvertently spilled some onto the surface of my toe, which caused a burn injury. The toe is still in the process of healing, still oozing, and I'm using Silvadene on it. It is not infected. My WLS is on Dec. 28 and I don't think my toe will be healed by then and it will need to be looked after while in the hospital. Has anyone else gone into the hospital for WLS while being treated for another type of wound problem? Hope I haven't grossed anyone out!
