I can hear things moving through my intestines, as though it's VERY...

close to the surface. It sounds like air and such. It's right above my belly button. I can hear it when I bend over, when I'm "using my muscles" in a Bowel movement (sorry it's gross) AND when I push on it with my fingertips. Is this a sympton of hernia? Does a hernia contribute to a blockage (bowel obstruction)? This frightens me, am I over-reacting? I am seven months post-op from the DGB w/DS.
