Does weight loss slow to a crawl as you near your goal?
Hi everyone. I have lost 86 pounds since 4/25/00 and am within 20 pounds of my goal weight, but I have noticed the past month or two that the weight loss is very much slowed down. Is it normal for it to slow down so much as you near your goal weight? Also, before I gained so much weight, I was at my current weight for a long time, could this be what I've been reading about, that my body "remembers" this weight and is holding on here a little harder? I am religious about taking the protein supplements, vitamins, and eat about 900-1000 calories a day. Could use a little more exercise and am working that into my schedule too. So unfortunately, I am at the stage where mostly what I am losing is my hair! Thanks for your help!
