Why am I developing so many kidney stones post-op?

At 4 1/2 weeks post-op I went to the ER with excruciating back pain. I had a kidney stone, and was in the hospital almost three days passing it. Two weeks later, I learned I might have another one forming. Three months later, (I am now 4 1/2 months post op), I have just learned that not only do I indeed have another stone, but I have two more! I am scheduled for a lithrotripsy (sp?) this week. I am scared to have this procedure, not really sure what to expect for after affects. But, I am mostly concerned with why I am developing so many stones. I am very careful to get all my water in every day - especially since passing my first stone at 4 weeks post-op. I take my multi-vitamin, extra zinc and Bcomplex (for my hair loss). I am deeply concerned that my wls has given me a lifetime pain in the back! No one ever told me that I would deal with kidney stones like this.
