Are these protein recipes ok post op?

Geezz, it is Me again! I sure make a pest of myself once I get started on here, don't I? Well, I need some more answers. For the last month, I have been trying all sorts of protein drinks. I want to find some that are good. I like vitalady.com protein powder, especially chocolate. I also like GNC's optimum whey protein in the vanilla flavor. I mix it w/ some crushed ice, a little water, some fruit, or some Dr Atkins sugar free cherry flavoring (GNC). Sometimes I add a little orange juice. They taste pretty good. I am wondering though, how I can cut the amt down to the size that I will be able to handle post op. Right now, this recipe makes about 12 oz of a refreshing, healthy smoothie (protein shake). I can't understand why some people seem to have such a tough time finding some powdered protein that they can enjoy drinking. As far as I can see, all it takes is some imagination and a blender. Am I wrong? The total calories in my recipes are something like 200 approx. The total amt of protein I am getting from a shake is about 25 grams, depending on what kind of protein I use. By the way, the guy at GNC told me that the body can not use more than about 22 gr of protein at one time. He says that these protein powders that have more only use more powder. He said it is a waste to take in more than about 22 gr at a time. Any comments on this? I really need to know if I am using the right items in my shakes or not. How do I cut it down to post op size? And is it ok to use powdered skim milk as one of the ingredients?
