Birth Control Pills, Irregular Cycle, and Pregnancy

Hi guys! Ok. I am 27 years old, 20 months post op, thanks to God. I have always been fertile (before surgery), but now I am starting to question it. My Ob/Gyn placed me on birth control pills last year to regulate my cycle. They became irregular after surgery. I've noticed that everytime I stop (or miss one and stop taking them in other words) that it goes back to being irregular (of course). Well, in April I missed a few so I stopped taking them. May 9 I started my cycle for 5 days. May 14 - May 20 my husband and I went all the way...no condoms, etc. May 21 I started bleeding again, and didnt stop until June 3. I went to see my Ob/Gyn and I'm not pregnant. He tells me that with the excessive weight loss that things are crazy with my hormones, and I understand this. I guess I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who experienced or have knowledge of anything like this. It would be a blessing to have children, and I know when its meant, its meant. Its all on God's timing. But, on the other side, its all beginning to be questionable. Please respond! Thanks a bunch. God bless.
