Should I have children now and post pone surgery?

I have not had surgery yet but someday post op I would like to have children. I think I would be totally miserable if I got pregnant at the weight I am now. Everyone thinks I'm nuts...my friends ask me why I would go through the surgery, lose all that weight, and then get pregnant and gain it all back!
