I am 2 weeks post-op and have a numb/tingeling hand and fingerd? Any ideas?

I have discussed this with Dr. and we are taking a wait and see approach. It is not gettting better. I had a long 8 hour surgery. Could it be surgery imobility? Could it be from the IV? Could it be Carpal Tunnesl (symptoms match)? Any insight would be appreciated
