I need to have a hernia repair and tummy tuck how can I get insurance to cover

I was told by the Dr. that performed my GBS that he could repair my hernia and do my tummy tuck at the same time and my insurance would cover it. However; For many reasons I prefer not to use this dr. again. Hopefully someone has had the same issue and can help me figure out how to get both done thru ins..
