Is it my computer or is OH running soooo slow now??

I have been on here for years but for the last few months OH has been running so slow I don't even like to participate because it takes forever to load anything?? And I have a cable modem, so other sites I go to are fast, but not this one. Is it something that is set on my computer??? Or are there others having the same issue?
