Is a NISSEN an automatic disqualifier for REVISION WLS?

I had a vbg in 1999. I'm wanting a revision, but my new surgeon was quite dismayed today when he realized that I had had a Nissen procedure done along with the VBG. I am so depressed. He says that he "may" not be able to re-operate on my stomach. He'll wait for Upper GI results, and he wants to see the size of my pouch.
