Can eating fruit slow weight loss?

Hi Everyone!!! I'm 6 months post-op and am in love with fruit. I don't go totally crazy unless I'm in denial, but I recently read on from someone else's profile that they regained some weight due to eating too much fruit. I only eat lean protein, fresh veggies and fruit as part of my post-op diet but am concerned now that maybe I should lay off the fruit during the time I'm trying to get the most weight off. For example, I eat 6-8 grapes with my cottage cheese in the morning for breakfast. I'll put a large bannana in my Proscore 100 protein drink at night and during the day, sometimes if I get hungry, I'll eat a couple of large strawberries. This is all in one day. Too much sugar???? Any advise would help and thank for all your wonderful support - love you guyz....missy
