Sinus Infection 9 Days To Go Is Surgery Still Possible?

I've had allergy issues for the last few months so when my cheek started to hurt on and off a week or so ago I didn't really worry about it. Yesterday and today its gotten worse plus I've had a lot of post nasal drip this whole time. Anyway since it got worse last night I took my temp and discovered I have a low grade fever of 99.5. I don't have the yellow mucus or anything just drainage, facial pain, and this low fever. I'm going to try to see my doctor tomorrow if he can't see me. I am going to try to get in somewhere. I will call my surgeon Monday to see if surgery will be possible. But I was wondering has anyone taken antibitics this close to surgery (7 or 9 days). I'm so upset!
