I have been approved for an abdominal panniculectomy and I am scheduled for it on Jan. 13. I have lost 137 pounds from my highest weight of 285.

I have a 20" "bucket handle" shaped keloid scar which runs along the bottom of my ribcage which is about 1" wide in some places that will be "corrected" at that time, and a pretty big panni.
The plastic surgeon will be doing what could be described as an "hourglass" type cut - or a capital letter "I", instead of an anchor or "T" because of the scar. There is also a fold of skin that flaps down over the scar from my weight loss, so that definitely needs to be corrected. The bottom cut will go pretty far around the back- it seems like all but 12" on my back will not be cut. I hope this is a pretty clear picture. Blech ;)

Now for the question. I am looking for someone with a very similar plastic surgery! That is all ;) I know there are a lot of folks who have had plastics, but I am specifically looking for someone with this type of cut, and what they have gone through, and what kind of healing I might expect from so much and these specific angles.

Thanks in advance for all of your help!
-shelli
