For those who have had a leak, how long was your recovery?

How many days in the hospital? What tests were used to confirm the leak was gone? I had a small leak after my Lap RNY on Oct 1. I was in the hospital for 12 days and went through a series of MRI swallow and Catscan tests to check to see if the leak was gone. The recovery before I could take in food, water or meds by mouth was 3 weeks. Is this normal?
