Has anyone had or know of anyone who had a successful repair of a stretched stoma?

I have always had a stretched stoma since surgery though I have not had a endoscope. I could drink 8 oz right a way ect. They thought I had a leak in the hospital and I think they stretched it then when they looked or it could have just been surgically done. The Dr. wouldn't order the tests to see why I could eat and drink normally so I refused to go back to him. I researched it and found that nothing could be done so I haven't gone to another DR. I had some malabsorbtion for a while but that went away too. I'm 1 year and 9 months out and only down 60 pounds now. I'm hoping in the last year there has been some progress made.
