How long before returning to a desk job after Open RNY

I plan to have surgery on Monday, November 24 and want to return to work on Tuesday, December 2 or 8 days after surgery. Has anyone returned to work this soon? My job is a desk job, no physical requirements whatsoever. I am in fairly good health now (except for being fat). I plan to up my protein between now and then to build up my body in the hopes that this will help my recuperation. Thoughts anyone?
