Tummy tuck remove your back pain?

My plastic surgeon wants to remove around 7 lbs of excess skin. My insurance says this amount is not significant to make a difference. I have read that 1 lb equals around 10 lbs of pressure on the back. Have you had less than 10 lbs removed and did it relieve your lower back pain? thx
