Question for Nectar drinkers!

I have surgery in one week. I really like the Apple Nectar, but I noticed that one of it's ingredients is Aspartame. Does this concern anyone? I don't know much about Aspartame but I seem to remember that it's not good for your brain. I would appreciate some input from anyone who has more info than I do! Thanks!
