what does it feel like to have food stuck?

I always assumed it felt like a stabbing in the heart. I ate with a fellow post op yesterday and I asked her if she ever ate and then had pain when he stood up straight. Like a pulling and pain from the rib cage down to below the belly button. she told me I probably had a piece of food stuck. What does it feel like? Did I indeed have food stuck?
