I am a month out today and have had no problems up to now.
I went to the gym for the first time yesterday and worked out hard. This morning I got up and my stomach hurt a little but after I drank about 4 oz, I started to feel sick. I took a couple bits of cheese thinking that maybe if I had something solid, I would feel better. Within an hour I was throwing up every 10 min. or so and constantly had nuasea. I did not throw up the cheese or my drink so I guess it went through the stoma with no problem. I have never been so sick in my life and threw up tons of bile (YUCK). My husband called the surgeon, who was away so another sugeon in his practice. (not gastric bypass) called me back and prescribed a anti-nuasea med. I took this in pill form and within a half an hour (now) I feel better. I am starting to sip liquids. Has this ever happened to anyone? I had no sugar this morning or anything new? I am worried that I could have an intestinal blockage or something??
