Has anyone experienced this kind of pain?

I am almost 4 weeks post op, and have had no pain or complications until last night. I had back pain and nausea; I took some of my liquid Lortab, which seemed to help some. Today, I've been experiencing back pain and what feels like gas pains/cramps in my stomach, from my ribs to my pelvic area. It comes in waves that last about 30 seconds. I have been having bowel movements daily, but they are very small. Has anyone had this, and do you think milk of magnesia will help? I have my 1 month follow up on Tuesday, but any reassurances would be appreciated.
