How do you know if you have a staple disruption?

How will I know if I get a staple disruption? I am 18 months out and my weight is great but the volumes are getting much bigger! He only did 4 rows of staples at the time he did my surgery (now he does 8 rows). I am so scared the staples won't hold. Any advice. Donna
