Pill stuck

Had to go on an antibiotic for bronchitis by my PCP. I halved it because it was rather large. Now I feel like it is stuck in the area right below my sternum. It's very uncomfortable. Any ideas on how to get it unstuck? Ive tried the adolph meat tenderizer trick but no luck. I took this pill 8 hrs ago and have been drinking water but nothing is dissolving it. thanks for your help!
