Part two of dental question, long term post ops

I have done some work since my last post. First let me give you a little update. My dad was a dentist who died two years ago, right before my surgery. I religiously had my teeth taken care of, it was FREE! :) Since then I had not gone to a dentist until my tooth broke. I saw my surgeon on Friday the 14th for a follow up and brought up the subject with him. I have been taking calcium citrate since surgery and it appeared to be what I needed but now I wonder. He is getting in touch with collegues at the Univ of Michigan and down in Florida. He said this is very interesting and needs to be looked at. He said this may spark a study for him. I will most likely be going in for more significant testing as I also cracked for vertebrae last week. I get in two glasses of Lactaid Soy Milk per day plus my calcium citrate so I don't know where the problem lies. If I find out more I will let you know. Thanks to each of you for your posts, it amazes me! AMY
