Is losing 10lbs. in 1 month 10 months post-op too much in one months time?

I went to my PCP yesterday. I am now 10 months post-op RNY. I've been having some problems with nausea & a little vomiting all along. I got on the scale & lost appromately 11 lbs in the one month since I'd seen him. It seems that I don't lose, don't lose, than all of a sudden I drop like 10 lbs. or so. From what I understand is nomral. My primary care Dr. had a fit. He said that is too much weight in such a short period of time to be losing this far out post-op. To date I have lost approx. 150 lbs. in about 10 months. I started out at about 304 or so. Do you agree or is he just not familiar with what is going on? Is losing 10 lbs. in a month 10 months post-op too much? I am unfortunately going in on Monday for a scope to see how my ulcer is doing that I've had since about 3 months post-op. Which they feel my be the root of my nausea etc. My PCP was talking about putting me on some cholesterol medication that also helps with absorbtion of foods & vitamins. I forget the name of it but that kind of scares me a little. He feels that I am not absorbing enough of what I should be. Plus, he is nervous about the diarrhea I have about once a day or so. After all I have been through why would I do that? Not to mention he is talking about switching my anti-depression meds. to Paxil which may cause WEIGHT GAIN he said?!! He did say he would converse with my surgeon first. BUT is this something I should be concerned with or what? Has anyone had this happen to them?
