anyone have gallbladder removed, having lap band, will i lose weight fast?

Going in for lapband (AGB), I had my gall bladder removed a year ago and i have been gaining weight. I weigh 330 at 5'5", has anyone else had the same experience and had a good weight loss results w/ the lapband? or was it slow. Any advice?
