Pacificare of Washington~~Surgeons who are contracted with this insurance...

I'm actually helping a friend who is considering this surgery. She has Pacificare of Washington and I'm just curious if anyone out there has been approved for RNY? And with what surgeon? On a personal note...I had my surgery on 11/1/02 and a big supporter of this choice and I want to help her as much as I can as my surgeon is not contracted with Pacificare. She has contacted her insurance and I know she can do that again to find out what DR's are contracted but I wanted to address this question directly to this board for "hands on" experience...also I've heard from a local surgeon in Olympia, WA that they have three patients who have the same insurance but Pacificare is denying the authorization for surgery...paying for the office visits, but when the submission for surgery goes in-they deny it. Thanks for your help!!
