Anyone in my area had psych eval?

Has anyone in the KC, Lawrence, Topeka area been to a psychiatrist for thier eval? If so, who did you go to? I am trying to make an appoinment, but so far, I can only get into one doc on the 12th of March, which I don't want to wait that long to get approved by insurance, and then wait another 2 months. can anyone help?
