Duodenal Mass?

I am scheduled for my surgery on Feb. 12. I should say WAS. I had my upper GI series last week. Today my surgeon tells me that they found a duodenal mass. Now I have a CT scan Thurs. and an EGD on Tuesday. Surgery is now postponed or cancelled. Now all I can think about is the fact that I now may have cancer. I'm scared to death and my eyes are so swollen I can barely see from crying. Has anyone else been told they have a duodenal mass?
