Eating fresh oysters and mussels at 10 weeks post op
Hi to my AMOS friends! I am planning a romantic dinner for my hubby and I in a few days. He's been gone away working since Dec. 28th. I was wondering if it is okay to eat fresh oysters on a half shell and mussels. I am ten weeks post op and tolerate most foods very well, but am concerned about the shellfish, it might be rubbery or I might not be able to chew it enough. Any post ops out there indulge in yummy seafood? How does it sit in your pouch? If I don't feel I can eat it, I'll have to find something else for myself to eat that night. Thanks for the advice!
