is there an increase of miscarriage after rny wls?

i was 9 weeks pregnant and i started bleeding .. my obgyn told me i was hvaing a miscarriage.. I have two beautiful boys 3 and 7 yrs old but i still feel a loss... My husband was wondering why this happened and is it because of my surgery because i'm only 8 months out...if any one has an advice or a stiry to share please do it would helpful
