Weight loss after RNY
Hi Everyone: This may be kind of a strange question, but I hope someone can relate. I am almost 14 weeks postop and I have found this to be true. Fortunately, my hunger has not returned yet, so I pretty much follow the same routine every day, non-caloric liquids, protein, exercise, etc. In other words, the so-called right things. As far as my weight loss, the weight just seems to drop when it wants to. I do these same things week after week. Sometimes I will lose a pound, sometimes 3. I compare it to having a baby. You may have a due date, but that baby is going to come when it wants to, no matter what you have in mind. Sometimes my weight will truly drop, but I have not done anything different. It has taken me over 3 months, but for me, it seems as if I just have to wait and see what each week brings. It is not a matter of cheating or carbs or anything else. It is just my body releasing the weight when it is good and ready. Anyone else feel like this? Love Grace
