drainage tube irritating diaphragm and pancreas?

Hi AMOS family. This is Alison R's angel and I need your advice! I posted this to the message board too so hopefully some will be able to help. Alison is experiencing alot of discomfort from her drainage tube on the right side. They said it's irritating her diaphragm and pancreas. She is terrified to have them try to move it again. She wants to be sedated if they do. Anyone else have this happen? Did meds work? Or just removing the tube work? I didn't have a tube on the right side, just on the left. Also she's allergic to morphine. They were giving her vicodin PILLS(sigh) and finally switched her to IV meds. She's terrified and she had to travle from Alaska to California for this surgery so she is separated from her family. Anyone experience this? Any advice?? Thank you!
