I have just been diagnosed with myeloproliferative disease.

I have "essential thrombocystitis", not the leukemia type. Has anyone had this blood disorder (i.e., bone marrow constantly makes too much white blood cells and platelets), and has gone through wls?? What about the risk of developing blood clots? Please, someone answer. This is the 2nd time Im trying to post this question.
