Anyone heard of Implantable Gastric Stimulator (IGS)?

Has anyone heard of the Implantable Gastric Stimulator? I know they are doing studies at the New England Medical Center in Boston. There are other places in the country doing this study. Is anyone participating in this research? I can't get through to NEMC to even ask them how to apply to be a guinea pig. If anyone is participating, how is it going for you? I'm very interested in knowing more about these studies... I can't even find info about it from the NIH.
