Shoulder Pain 17 mos. post-op

Is this normal, to have left Shoulder Pain 17 mos. post-op. I get this every time I eat. I had the Open RNY DS by Dr. Ikramuddin in Pitts, Dr. Schauer in Pitts is now the person I see. I had surgery 04/12/01 and have lost 151lbs. I gain and lose the same 10lbs. over and over again. I just have shoulder pain after I eat, I told the Dr, but he doesnt seemed concerned about it, is this normal?
